The District provides sewer service for all the homes, businesses, and other facilities within the boundaries of the District. To verify that a particular address or Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) is within LWD’s service area contact the District office at (760) 753-0155 or you may use LWD's interactive service area map.
LWD sewer service is provided through the issuance of a sewer permit. If an individual or developer has a project, please contact the District office or email Ian Riffel, Capital Project Manager at iriffel@lwwd.org for more details on project requirements. The City of Carlsbad and the City of Encinitas require that all LWD requirements are satisfied before a building permit is issued.
