At Leucadia Wastewater District (LWD), safety is our top priority! Our Field Services Team (FSTs) recently participated in and successfully completed Confined Space Training, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the critical work of maintaining our collection system safely and effectively.

Many areas within our 200-mile collection system—including manholes, pipelines, and pump stations—are considered confined spaces, requiring specialized knowledge and safety procedures to enter.
This training ensures:

✔ Hazard identification & emergency response readiness
✔ Compliance with OSHA safety standards
✔ New hires are trained to navigate confined spaces safely
