With rain coming up, are you making sure you are rain ready? 🌧️

Below is a checklist of ways to prepare for upcoming rainfall:

✅ Start capturing rainwater now for later use! This reduces runoff to the ocean, keeping harmful pollutants from reaching beaches and waterways.
✅ Proactively turn off irrigation to save water and minimize runoff.
✅ Do not open or lift manhole covers in the event of street flooding.

Often, the District responds to homeowners' calls about sewer blockages, and we’re happy to come by to see if the issue is caused by a blockage in the sewer main. You can reach us at (760) 753-0155. While we will observe our system, we cannot diagnose or repair your blockage, so we always advise you to also call your plumber to clean/repair any issues.
