One of the 2022-2023 Teacher Grant recipients, kindergarten teacher Nancy Jois from Capri Elementary, requested a live virtual tour as part of her "Erosion and Storm Drains" project. We were able to give 4 different classes virtual tours of the District's televised van and combination truck in both English and Spanish! Videos of these tours are coming soon.

Below are Thank You cards from the students to our Field Services Technicians Hugo and Mauricio for conducting educational tours. Help us thank them in the comments below!

Often, the District responds to homeowners' calls about sewer blockages, and we’re happy to come by to see if the issue is caused by a blockage in the sewer main. You can reach us at (760) 753-0155. While we will observe our system, we cannot diagnose or repair your blockage, so we always advise you to also call your plumber to clean/repair any issues.

Do your kids or students like big trucks? We have new stickers celebrating the work our Field Services Technicians and their combination trucks do to keep our community clean by clearing out blockages in sewer lines. Write to us at info@lwwd.org and we’ll mail some stickers for your kids!

A huge congratulations to Field Services Technician Steve Krason for being awarded the Collection Systems Person of the Year award at the recent California Water Environment Association San Diego banquet. 🏆

We are rooting for him to be recognized at the state level!
