The District is seeking a full-time Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) to join our high performing and award-winning team. The successful candidate must have a strong financial and accounting background with eight years applicable program and management experience in the public sector. Under general direction, the DFA is responsible for planning, directing and managing the finance and accounting functions, as well as, general oversight of the administration, human resources, insurance, and risk management functions of the District.

In October 2020, Grant Hoxworth was in escrow on a home in the District’s service area. Due to the current owner’s plumbing history of the property, Grant decided to have a camera inspection performed on the private sewer lateral and contacted a local plumbing company. During the camera inspection, the plumbing company discovered a root mass in the sewer lateral that had the potential to cause a sewer backup.

Thanks for the award California Association of Sanitation Agencies! And congrats to the other winners⭐️

This camera travels through our 200 miles of sewer lines to determine any new root intrusions/blockage or irregularities, such as sand, pool plaster, or other non-flushable objects. When our Field Services Technicians find problems, they are reported and scheduled for repair. This truck is used daily throughout the District to maintain the integrity of the sewer system.
