One of the District’s organizational goals is to protect our local environment, private and personal property and public assets. To achieve this goal, the District must not have a sewer spill for one consecutive year or multiple consecutive years. As of November 28th, the District has achieved this goal by not having a spill for one year.
As San Diego County enters a Regional Stay Home Order, our District remains focused on the health and safety of our employees and the public, as well as our commitment to protecting the environment.
During this shutdown, the District office will be closed to the public starting today. If you would like to make an appointment to come in, please call in advance.
Congrats to the District for receiving an award from Olivenhain Municipal Water District as their Recycled Water Customer of the Year Award! ♻️ 💦
OMWD's award program recognizes individuals and businesses making a significant, positive impact in our communities, the San Diego region, or the water industry.
We received this award for partnering with OMWD on a project to utilize recycled water for sewer cleaning and street sweeping.
